ABOUT US
The story of Obudu association UK can not be written without mentioning the effort of our capable President Mrs Scholastica Odey. A lot of failed start had taken place in the past, not for the lack of effort but maybe it was not the right time. Whatever it is, the association has come to stay. The association is the umbrella charity organisation for all the old Obudu LGA idigenes living in the UK.
Our main Objective
To Unite indigenes of old Obudu resident in the UK.
To uphold our cultural heritage through shared meals, language, music and dance.
To provide a sense of community among members.
To Promote the welfare of members.
To advance the the standard of living of Obudu community by engaging in welfare schemes where possible.
To Undertake sustainable community development programs and interventions in health and social wellbeing, education, environment and entrepreneurship.
The Obudu Association UK (OAU) affairs is currently been piloted by a small group of volunteers known as the Steering Committee with the following members:
